ABPS4 DEVLOG #11 – Broken Down

You’re on your way to work or to a party, and your car breaks down. Now you’re standing all alone on the side of the road, looking for help. That’s happened to all of us at some point, right?

In Autobahn Police Simulator 4, you’ll experience exactly that—but from the other side. Police officers don’t just enforce the law. They also help people who are in trouble or in need.

Keep an eye on the road and enforce the law—but don’t forget to help people in need. When you’re on patrol, look around, watch out for vehicles on the side of the road, and help if you can.

If you come across a broken-down car, make sure the area is safe first. Use your patrol car’s matrix lights, turn on the blue lights, and properly secure the area. Make sure everyone is wearing a safety vest and check that a warning triangle has been set up. Safety comes first.

As always, we haven’t shown all the gameplay—playing it yourself is the best way to experience it!

The only question left is how to find these events in the world. Either you’ll spot a broken-down vehicle on the side of the road, or you can check the map—you’ll likely find them there as well. And last but not least: pay attention to radio calls from your command center; many events and missions are assigned to you directly, and you can decide for yourself which ones to tackle first.

Du bist auf dem Weg zur Arbeit oder zu einer Party und dein Auto gibt den Geist auf. Und nun stehst du ganz alleine am Straßenrand und suchst Hilfe. Das ist uns doch allen schon mal passiert, oder?

In Autobahn Polizei Simulator 4 erlebst du genau das, aber auf der anderen Seite. Polizisten überwachen nicht nur Recht und Gesetz. Sie helfen auch Menschen, die Probleme haben oder in Not sind.

Achte auf die Straße und Recht und Gesetz – aber vergiss nicht Menschen in Not zu helfen. Wenn du auf Streife bist, dann schau dich um, achte auf Fahrzeuge am Rande der Straße und hilf, wenn du kannst.

Wenn du auf ein liegen gebliebenes Auto triffst, sorge zuerst für Sicherheit. Nutze die Matrix deines Streifenwagens, schalte das Blaulicht ein und sichere den Platz ordentlich ab. Achte darauf das alle Warnwesten tragen und prüfe, ob ein Warndreieck aufgestellt wurde. Sicherheit geht vor.

Wie immer haben wir natürlich nicht das gesamte Gameplay abgebildet, selber spielen FTW!

Bleibt nur noch die Frage, wie man solche Events in der Welt findet. Entweder siehst du am Rand der Straßen ein liegen gebliebenes Fahrzeug oder du schaust auf der Karte nach, dort kannst du ebenfalls fündig werden. Und nicht zuletzt: achte auf die Funkrufe von deiner Leitstelle, viele Events und Mission bekommst du direkt zugewiesen und du kannst selbst entscheiden, um was du dich zuerst kümmern willst.
