Operations in Caminora expand today with all-new S.W.A.T. missions, tactical gameplay mechanics, elite gear, and the ARES armored response vehicle!
The S.W.A.T. – Caminora Police DLC for Highway Police Simulator by Z-Software and Aerosoft is available now on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
This new expansion lets players become an elite SWAT officer, taking on high-risk tactical operations across Caminora. Featuring 7 new missions, including hostage rescue and bomb disposal scenarios, the DLC introduces squad-based gameplay and new strategic police simulation mechanics.
Players will also gain access to an exclusive S.W.A.T. uniform with protective gear and the ARES tactical response vehicle, designed for rapid deployment into critical situations across city, forest, and highway environments. The DLC expands Highway Police Simulator with intense, tactical police operations and coordinated team gameplay at a new level of realism and pressure.

Update Highlights & Changelog for version 1.1.0
Traffic checks: NPC vehicles selected for checks now find their stopping positions more quickly and come to a halt significantly sooner. Across the entire Caminora map, all ‘parking zones’ at the side of the road have been revised. This makes stopping a vehicle for a check significantly faster and more realistic.
Vehicle damage: The impact and effects of collisions with the environment and other vehicles have been revised and adjusted. Damage effects and damage values, as well as vehicle deformations, have been improved and now reflect reality more authentically.
Speeding: Based on player feedback, there are now significantly more vehicles travelling too fast, increasing the likelihood of them being stopped for a speeding ticket. The general speed of vehicles has been slightly increased. At the same time, the radar in patrol cars has been significantly improved and simplified. The display has also been adjusted.
Firefights: The shootouts have been significantly improved. Among other things, the feedback to players has been changed and now provides much more information. The collision behaviour of projectiles has also been overhauled. It now provides better feedback, and ammunition only collides with visible obstacles.
Accidents: The accident system has been overhauled. Accidents now occur more frequently and are presented more clearly. Furthermore, the variability has been significantly improved. Additionally, the triggering mechanism has been altered to ensure that players do not trigger the same events one after the other. The accidents themselves have also been made more variable within the event, leading to greater variety.
