Gamescom 2025 – a short blog

We have just had a fantastic but exhausting week at gamescom, the world’s largest gaming trade fair. Of course, we were there too, and today we want to share a few impressions with you.

Our dynamic duo, Andreas (CEO) and Andreas (CM), were at the fair from Tuesday to Friday. In addition to many appointments and obligations, we also had the opportunity to meet some of our fans and chat with them.

Together with our colleagues from our publisher AEROSOFT, we showed new content for the “Autobahn Police Simulator” and “Highway Police Simulator” franchises behind closed doors. We are currently working with the publisher to present this content to you publicly in a few days.

What we can already say today is that both titles will receive a comprehensive update in the fall and winter, and only then will they be launched with the new content.

Our new third-person shooter “Tactical Response Team” was also a topic of discussion, of course. We had many conversations with the community and influencers, explained our plans and visions for the game, and received a lot of feedback. With the major early access launch on Steam, we will be embarking on a new chapter for Z-Software together with the community and will be sharing new content, the ideas behind the game, and its path to the future over the coming weeks and months. Even before the early access launch, we will be inviting experts from the community, influencers, and also regular fans and players to accompany us on this journey. We are really looking forward to it!

We would also like to thank our colleagues from the “game” Association for their great work at gamescom. We made many contacts and had many conversations at their booth and in their network area.

As every year, we are left with cool, funny, and exciting anecdotes from the trade fair. For example, we saved the life of a wasp that was desperately trying to get into a bottle of orange lemonade.

We took advantage of this year’s very good and, above all, not too hot weather to have many conversations on the terrace in front of the Business Center. You simply meet a lot of people there. Among them are fans, partners, former colleagues, acquaintances, and also new random acquaintances.

On Wednesday and Friday, we had a visit from some colleagues from the Z-Software team who were attending the trade fair privately. Developers are gamers too. It was great to have you there!

And while one Andreas had an adventurous journey home on the German railway, our boss is now at home sick. He seems to have “brought something back” with him. We wish him a speedy recovery.

In any case, we are very much looking forward to the coming fall, because we still have a few more arrows in our quiver. One looks like Dustwind and the other comes with a hang glider. So you can look forward to it!
